Koh Siray island has a small harbour where a number of fishing vessels leave from and a small number of ferries leave which can take you to the neighbouring islands.

What we went for is to feed the local monkeys which live in the local mangrove forests adjacent to the river. Recently there has been a long promenade built with a small podium for you to feed the monkeys from. The food can usually be purchased from a local person who sits opposite the feeding podium - bananas, sweet corn, nuts etc.

After feeding the monkeys at the Monkey Seeing point I would walk slowly along the pavement which is on the other side from the feeding podium. Walk slowly along the pavement and look for the small gaps in the trees where there are small piers. Walk carefully along these piers towards the river.

When you reach the end you may find a local fisherman, a boat moored or simply peace and tranquility - but please remember to be respectful to the local people.

Here is a map and some photographs.
